Ok, so i really really really really......REALLY love sweets .
I basically have the sweet tooth from hell.
So i try to find healthy alternatives i can make myself.
Of course i give in and eat junk, chocolates and potato chips etc, like everyone else.
One has to live a little.
But i like to have healthy options at hand.
The recipe,if you can call it that ,is very simple.
What you need:
Apples (how many is up to you, and a sweet kind, like pink lady)
Baking tray/wire rack
Knife or mandolin slicer
Optional:
apple corer
It`s really simple ;
First turn on the oven , i use the fan oven function on mine, on 130 degrees Celsius (266 Fahrenheit)
You might have to adjust the heat,every oven is different.
Then slice the apple as thin as you want them, the thinner the slices, the shorter it takes to bake.
Lay the apple slices on the wire rack or racks, as Close to each other as possible (try to overlap as little as possible)
You can sprinkle some cinnamon on if you want, i like them natural.
Put them in the oven.
Baking apple chips can take from 2-8 hours, depending on how thick or thin the apple slices are.
When they are done ,let hem cool down, and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
